One day in #mangascans on Dalnet, Ichijo private messaged me asking if I was the one that did some of the edits of Love Hina for darkshard. I answered "yes" and he asked if I was interested in doing some edits for some scans that he had. To my surpirse Ichijo sent me all the volumes of I''s manga scanned with great quality. The plan was to edit it for our own personal enjoyment and give them to a few friends here and there.

We later decided that it whould be nice to share this with everybody since it was much better in quality then the original I''s release. We started to share them in the channel and then decided to make a web division. We needed to make a url name and Hemish suggested MangaProject. At the time we didn't even think ourselves as a group so MangaProject became our group name as well.

Since that time, we have grown in size, expanded our projects, change ways of editing, and change ways of scanning. We are very proud of our Quality and the dedication to make this a fun thing and not a work thing. We hope when you see the MangaProject name, you think High Quality, nothing less. - ZlleH
